We’re looking for a Sales Support Specialist to help identify and qualify businesses that could benefit from our services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, organization, and strategic prospecting while supporting a growing digital agency.
About the Role
As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll focus on researching businesses, identifying potential clients, and gathering key data to support targeted outreach. This is a critical support role that ensures our sales and marketing efforts are directed toward high-value prospects. You won’t be making direct sales calls, but your work will fuel the agency’s growth by ensuring we reach the right businesses at the right time.
What You’ll Do
- Identify Prospects – Use Google, LinkedIn, Yelp, industry directories, and automation tools to research businesses that fit our ideal client profile.
- Industry Focus – Prioritize businesses in Professional Services (law firms, accountants, consultants), Health & Wellness (fitness centers, therapists, wellness coaches), and Home Services (contractors, electricians, landscapers).
- Assess Digital Presence – Evaluate businesses’ branding, web presence, content strategy, and marketing efforts to determine if they align with our solutions.
- Lead Data Collection – Identify key decision-makers (e.g., business owners, marketing managers) and record their contact details, company information, and current digital strategy gaps.
- Organize & Maintain Prospecting Data – Enter researched businesses into our CRM or tracking system, ensuring outreach efforts are structured, trackable, and optimized for follow-ups.
What Success Looks Like
- Adding 35+ qualified businesses per week to the prospecting list
- Evaluating 30+ businesses per week for branding, web, or digital gaps
- Supporting 10–12 booked calls per month
- Helping secure 3–4 closed deals per month
Your research and insights will directly support KSR’s ability to connect with high-potential clients, ensuring our marketing and sales teams engage businesses that will benefit most from our services.
What You Need to Succeed
- Strong research and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable using Google, LinkedIn, Yelp, and automation tools to find leads
- Basic understanding of branding, websites, and digital strategy (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to identify businesses with digital gaps that align with our solutions
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with clear direction
- No prior sales experience required—training provided
